In an effort to further digitise the visa application process, New Zealand Immigration will be introducing online visa applications later in 2013, and gradually phasing out paper applications over the next couple of years. The Government believes that this new digitised system will improve efficiency will also see a reduction in potential abuse and fraudulence of the system.
